夏天，在网络上读到《黑暗时代的人们》中译本的译者王凌云抱怨出版社责任编辑把原先 译稿中自己翻译为的“同感”的“sympathy”，全部改成“同情”。１确实，在读《黑暗时代的人们》 的时候，对“compassion”、“pity”和“co--suffering”等词，要格外小心的体味它们在文本之中以及词 源上的细微的区别，才能正确读解阿伦特政治思想的内涵。
