Abstract
"Public-private partnerships for global health (PPPs)are still social or organizational experiments. We are all learning from each other about PPPs, and the spirit of exchange at the meeting centered around that. Attendees came from a wide variety perspectives: public, nonprofit, commercial. All have been involved in either researching, designing, actual managing, or interacting with PPPs. The focus was on PPPs focused on drug delivery through health systems at the country level. We believe it is important to listen to the needs and concerns of all groups in order to identify common areas needing further analysis. The meeting was designed to allow for honest exchanges and discussions respectful of these varying viewpoints."(pg 1)
