Abstract
"The aim of this study was to analyze academic publicatins regarding actins of health care for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvesties and the trans gender (LGBTT), in a focus of principialist bioethics. The methodology employed was trial design, in which the data gathered were divided into two sets: academic productins, and documents standardizing LGBTT health policy in the Single Health System (SUS). The studies showed that be- yond the the actins aimed at the health of LGBTT, there exist prejudice and discriminatin, requiring a new examinatin of ethical and bioethical interactin between the professional and the user. Thus professional performance based on principialist bioethics may be considered a way of overcoming values judgments on the part of health professionals, helping bettr pursue the integral nature of care."
