"A importância da teoria sociológica de Émile Durkheim é reconhecida tanto por admiradores quanto por seus críticos. A publicação do livro As formas elementares da vida religiosa que em 2012, completa 100 anos, foi marcante no interior da sociologia durkheimiana e também no pensamento social moderno.
