Abstract
"Este trabalho aborda a comunidade como questão ontológica e social sob duas perspectivas distintas, embora convergentes nos seus objetivos. O contexto geral é a idade moderna e o objetivo privilegiado é a possibilidade de reestruturação social. A comunidade é focalizada como condição fundamental do humano e da sociedade. A primeira perspectiva se exprime no pensamento de Martin Buber através de sua crítica dos movimentos e teorias socialistas e de sua filosofia da relação dialógica. A segunda perspectiva é a da sociologia de Boaventura de Sousa Santos que recupera a dimensão da emancipação social através de uma nova afirmação da solidariedade na comunidade" ["This paper addresses the community as ontological and social issue in two different perspectives, though converging in their goals. The general context is the age modern and the prime objective is the possibility of social restructuring. THE community is focused as a fundamental condition of human and society. THE first perspective is expressed in the thought of Martin Buber by his criticism of movements and socialist theories and his philosophy of dialogic relationship. The second perspective is the sociology of Boaventura de Sousa Santos that retrieves the size of the social emancipation through a new affirmation of solidarity in the community"]
