Abstract
"Leer los textos del Nuevo Testamento, y en especial los evangelios, en una perspectiva ecológica es un proceso aún en construcción. Este artículo hace parte de ese proceso. El presente estudio de Marcos 11:15-19 nos ofrece un análisis y una lectura en perspectiva ecológica, tomando como claves de interpretación a las palomas y la higuera, ya que éstos aparecen como elementos de la creación que son víctimas de las acciones destructivas hacia ella y que afecta directamente a los pobres. El análisis sigue el procedimiento clásico de la exégesis –sin ser exhaustivo- lo cual nos ayuda a ubicarnos en el texto y confirmar la sospecha de la relación del templo con la casa-oikos como lugar común de elementos interrelacionados que deben producir vida plena. La interpretación que hacemos deja como reflexión que las acciones liberadoras llevadas a cabo por Jesús en el templo nos brindan luces para la concientización de los más vulnerables frente a las injusticias contra ellos mismos y la naturaleza, así como acciones de resistencia y confrontación a quienes pretenden ser dueños de la creación." "To read the texts of the New Testament, and in particular the Gospels, in an ecological perspective is a process still under construction. This article is part of this process. This study of Mark 11:15-19 offers us an analysis and a reading in an ecological perspective, taking as key points the interpretation of the doves and the fig tree. These appear as elements of creation which are victims of destructive actions against it and which directly affect the poor. The analysis continues the classic process of exegesis – without being exhaustive – which helps us to place ourselves in the text and to confirm the notion of the relationship of the temple with the house-oikos as a common area of interrelated elements which should produce full life. The interpretation that we render leaves with us as a reflection that the liberating actions carried out by Jesus in the temple enlightens us towards the consciousness-raising of the most vulnerable when faced with the injustices against them and nature, as well as the actions of resistance and confrontation to those who claim to be the masters of creation."
