Abstract
"Discutimos, neste artigo, em âmbito reflexivo-crítico, o tema do tecnohumanismo e suas principais consequências para a cultura atual. A partir da Bioética, analisamos as bases atuais das mudanças em relação à vida humana como um todo. O artigo divide-se em três pontos: primeiramente, refletimos sobre os impactos e as mudanças geradas pela biociência e, consequentemente, pelas biotecnologias no mundo cultural; posteriormente, apresentamos as consequências da biotecnologia sobre o homem e desenvolvimento de um novo conceito de ser humano, perpassado pelo tecnohumanismo; e, por fim, trabalhamos a questão da manipulação do corpo humano, gerada pelo tecnohumanismo. A partir da reflexão chegamos à conclusão de que o corpo, na cultura atual, é visto e compreendido como objeto e mercadoria, valorizado sob o ponto de vista da economia e da estética, mas desvalorizado em sua dignidade" ["We discuss, in this article, in a reflexive-critical context, the theme of technohumanism and its main consequences for the current culture. From Bioethics, we analyze the current basis of changes in relation to human life as a whole. This article is divided into three points: first, we reflect on the impacts and changes generated by bioscience and hence by biotechnology in the cultural world, then we present the effects of biotechnology on humans and the development of a new concept of human impregnated by technohumanism, and finally, we approach the issue of handling work from the human body, generated by technohumanism. Upon our reflection we conclude that the body is seen and understood in the current culture as an object and as merchandise, valued from the point of view of economy and aesthetics, but devalued in itscfd dignity"]
