Abstract in Chinese: 在比较中西文化的过程中，国学大师钱穆提出了其特殊的经济文化观：“经济人生处于文化的最低基层”、“人类生活终当以农业为主”、“道德为文化的最高领导”，启示着我们在当今人们物质欲望强烈、国际经济竞争激烈的世界中，坚持把经济繁荣富强作为社会公正和谐、精神文明崇高、生态平衡协调的手段，走一条更合理、更可持续的发展道路。Abstract in English: In the course of comparison between Sino-western cultures, Qian Mu, the master of Chinese studies, presents his unique views of economic-culture as “the economic life is the minimum grassroots of culture”, “agriculture is ultimately predominant in human life” and “morality is the highest leader of culture”, all which enlighten us that amongst the world of strong material desires and fierce international competitions, we should insist that economic prosperity as the principal means of social justice and harmony, spiritual and cultural loftiness, and ecological balance; and take a more reasonable and sustainable road of development.
