Abstract
"O presente artigo surgiu basicamente de um incômodo: é possível conceber a democracia contemporânea como o ponto final de todo um desenvolvimento da humanidade? Seria errado concebê-la como apenas mais uma fase da trajetória política do homem? Atualmente, a democracia é quase uma verdade absoluta assumindo caráter de irrefutabilidade quando contrastado mesmo com o ser humano. Muitos são os defensores da democracia e que a colocam num patamar axiomático chegando a posicionarem-na anterior ao homem – ou seja, a democracia deve existir antes mesmo do ser humano, independentemente de suas particularidades culturais. Essa teleologia democrática legitima guerras e deslegitima formas outras de organizações políticas tidas como insuficientes para a operacionalidade dos seres humanos em suas complexidades organizacionais" ["This article basically arose from a nuisance: it is possible to conceive Contemporary democratic as the end point of a whole development of humanity?
