Abstract
"En este estudio se investiga la naturaleza de la iglesia primitiva que Santiago, “el hermano del Señor”, presidió en Jerusalén antes de la insurrección general del año 66 d.C. y la destrucción del templo en el 70 d.C. El autor junta la evidencia a favor de la tesis de que la iglesia participó en la insurrección y que sufrió su propia destrucción en la hecatombe de esos días. Por último, se evalúa la importancia para nosotros de este cristianismo primitivo truncado" "This study investigates the nature of the primitive church which James, “the brother of the Lord”, presided in Jerusalem before the general insurrection of the year 66 C.E. and the destruction of the temple in 70 C.E. The author draws together the evidence which leads him to believe that the church participated in the insurrection and suffered its own destruction in those catastrophic days. Finally, the significance for us of this early Christianity which was aborted, is assessed"
