Abstract
"A violência é polifacética e histórica, por isso tem que ser compreendida a partir da genealogia de suas práticas. Nas sociedades modernas, há um tipo de violência (estrutural) derivado da instrumentalização da vida que por sua vez está associado ao governo utilitarista dos resultados. Este ensaio tem por objetivo analisar alguns aspectos da raiz da violência biopolítica que opera através da objetivação instrumental da vida humana e, nesta condição, utiliza a vida como objeto útil abandonando-a quando se tornar inútil. Esta lógica utilitária da vida humana contém uma violência radical que opera silenciosa e eficazmente nos dispositivos de poder, banalizando o descarte da vida quando se torna improdutiva ou ineficiente" ["Violence is multifaceted and historical, so it has to be understood from the genealogy of their practices. In modern societies, there is a kind of violence (structural) derived from the instrumentalization of life which in turn is associated with the utilitarian government results. This essay aims to examine some aspects of the roots of violence biopolitics that operates through instrumental objectification of human life and, in this condition, uses life as useful object abandoning it when it becomes useless. This utilitarian logic of human life it contains a radical violence that operates quietly and efficiently in power devices, trivializing the disposal of life when it becomes unproductive or inefficient"]
