"Roma se ha opuesto a la entrega de un doctorado honoris causa, por parte de la Facultad católica de la teología de Kinshasa, en el Congo, al teólogo Claude Geffré por el conjunto de su trabajo. Las razones de este abuso del poder permanecen desconocidas. Este dominico de gran inteligencia, antiguo director de la Escuela Bíblica de Jerusalén, autor de numerosas publicaciones, está de ser un revolucionario, pero consagrado todo su trabajo a la elaboración de una teología del pluralismo religioso" ["Rome has opposed the delivery of a Ph.D. honoris causa, by the Catholic Faculty of Theology Kinshasa, Congo, the theologian Claude Geffré by the set of his work.
