Abstract
"La mistagogía es una estructura pedagógico-religiosa que consiste en una iniciación al Misterio. Implica una ruptura de la vida anterior, una introducción a los mitos de origen y una pruebas y ritos iniciáticos que desembocan en un nuevo nacimiento. Esta estructura la vivió existencialmente Ignacio de Loyola en su proceso de conversión y entrega a Dios, sobre todo en Manresa. Esta mistagogía es la que se refleja en los Ejercicios espirituales que no son un adoctrinamiento ni un voluntarismo ético, sino una auténtica mistagogía al Misterio fundante de la fe cristiana, el misterio pascual de Jesús muerto y resucitado, al que el ejercitante se siente llamado a servir en la Iglesia de hoy. Esta mistagogía ignaciana es hoy sumamente actual para poder ser cristianos en el siglo XXI." "Mystagogy is a religious pedagogical structure that introduces into mystery. It implies a break with previous life experience, and an introduction into the myths of origen and initial rites which are the beginning of a new birth. Ignatius of Loyola experienced this structure in his process of conversion and of giving himself up to God, especially at Manresa. This mystagogy shows in the Spiritual Exercises, which are not a teaching, nor an act of ethical will, but rather lead into the founding mystery of Christian faith: the Easter mystery of the death and resurrection of Christ, which the person going through the exercises is called upon to serve in today's Church. The Ignatinan mystagogy is of special importance today, so that we can begin to be Christians in the XXIth century."
