Abstract
"Mediante este editorial, además de manifestar nuestra repulsa ante las numerosas guerras asimétricas que se están desarrollando actualmente en el mundo, planteamos la necesidad de que la Bioética abra puntos de mira y sus campos de actuación para ocuparse de los problemas de la vida, la muerte y la salud en las situaciones de violencia extrema que generan los diversos conflictos armados actuales. Y no solo por lo que hace a la vida y la salud se encuentra concernida la Bioética en tales situaciones, sino que los desarrollos tecnológicos plantean nuevos retos humanitarios y bioéticos ya que con ellos han surgido nuevos métodos y medios de guerra que refinan y multiplican las formas de matar y herir (ataques cibernéticos, drones y robots armados, guerra bacteriológica, etc.)" ["Through this editorial, in addition to expressing our disgust at the many asymmetrical wars that are currently being developed in the world, we required that the Bioethics open crosshairs and fields of action to deal with the problems of life, death and health in situations of extreme violence generated by the various armed conflicts current.
