Abstract
"A la tesis de la decadencia de la religión le ha sucedido la del interés por las consecuencias políticas, económicas y culturales del hecho religioso. El proceso de la globalización y la problemática del choque o alianza de civilizaciones revaloriza las religiones. Es importante estudiar las funciones sociales y antropológicas de las religiones y evaluar su potencial humanizante y su violencia destructiva. Estas dinámicas varían de las sociedades tradicionales a las postmodernas, porque, como el nacionalismo, son factores de resistencia a la colonización cultural y a la erosión de la identidad. De ahí, sus posibles aportaciones a la paz mundial, a una ética intercultural y al diálogo de civilizaciones." "After the thesis of Religion’s decadence come the actual interest for the political, economical and cultural consequences of the religious fact. The globalisation’s process and the problematic clash or dialogue of civilizations revalue the different religions. It is important to study the social and anthropological functions of religions and to evaluateit’shumanitarian and it’s violence destructive. These dynamics change from the traditional societies to the postmoderns, because, as nationalism, they are resistance’s factors against cultural colonisation and identity erosion. They can contribute also to world’s peace, to an inter-cultural ethic and to civilization’sdialogue."
