Abstract
This Code of Business Conduct (the 'Code') has been adopted by our leadership and our Board of Directors and represents and explains the basic obligations of all of us. To start with it, Monsanto policy to comply with applicable laws and regulations. This code is a guide and resource to provide legal information on business conduct issues that frequently occur. The code is intended to address every circumstance, nor is it a summary of all the laws and regulations that apply to Monsanto. Employees are always expected to use their common sense and best judgement when addressing business conduct issues, and to seek guidance if the best course of action is not clear. This code applies to Monsanto businesses and subsidiaries worldwide and applies to all Monsanto officers, directors, and full time and part time employees. Additionally, this Code will apply to all affiliates controlled by Monsanto.
