Abstract
"Pretendemos analizar en este trabajo las publicaciones que sobre el límite del esfuerzo terapéutico se han realizado en la última década en revistas dirigidas a profesionales y no especializadas en bioética. La mayoría de estos artículos son de opinión donde la influencia de la bioética principialista es manifiesta, llegando incluso a justificar el derecho a acabar con la vida en base a la autonomía del paciente. Es necesario que la bioética personalista haga llegar sus planteamientos también a las revistas no especializadas". ["In this paper we review articles concerning the limits of therapeutic effort that have been published in the past decade in journals directed at health professionals. Most of these articles are opinion pieces in which the influence of principlism is clear, even going so far as to justify the right to terminate life based on patient autonomy It is time for personalistic bioethics to transmit its approaches in medical journals that are not specialized in bioethics".]
