Abstract
The paper explores f emale leadership within Islamfrom the Islamic leader especiallyin Aceh. Womenleadership is still one of the contentious issues. This study is an analysis of the poll form collected from the view of the scholars boarding school in Aceh on women’s leadership . The results of this study indicate that in matters of sharia , the scholars agreed not to allow a woman to become a leader , as an Imam and Khatib, but related to muamalah, a woman is allowed to become leaders
