Abstract
Strawson. Filosofía moral. Ética. Naturalismo. Abstract - Peter F. Strawson offered in his “Social Morality and Individual Ideal” (1961) a suggestive group of reflections concerning the tension between ethical ideals of the individual and moral demands of society. Those reflections are revisited in this paper with the support of the second Inquiry (1751) of David Hume. It is argued that this work offers a clue to understand many of the problems stated by Strawson. In fact, Strawson himself adopted years later an interesting moderate naturalistic strategy with roots in Hume. Key words - Hume. Strawson. Moral Philosophy. Ethics. Naturalism.
