Abstract
"La muerte como hecho que afecta al ser humano, ha sido abordada de forma muy heterogénea según la concepción teológica, filosófica o científica que se tenga del mundo. Esta heterogeneidad se debe a que las diferentes maneras de analizarla no siempren coinciden, mucho menos se complementan a plenitud( l). Cada una de ellas aspira a interiorizar, conocer y poseer el fenómeno muerte. Definir a una persona como muerta presupone que ningún tratamiento médico es posible para revertir la cesación de la vida.
