Abstract
"¿Por qué es pertinente ser ecuménicos? Quisiera resaltar en este trabajo el papel que ha jugado la vocación ecuménica y la búsqueda de unidad del pueblo pentecostal latinoamericano y caribeño. Ese llamado al compromiso ecuménico está cimentado en profundas convicciones cristianas. En esa búsqueda de unidad se hace necesario resaltar cuatro convicciones fundamentales y una motivación esencial. Las cuatro convicciones son: bíblicas, teológicas, misionales y éticas. La motivación esencial es la visión del Reino de Dios como anuncio del Evangelio y horizonte de esperanza. La unidad que anhelamos es primicia y regalo en Jesucristo; guianza y presencia del Espíritu Santo, que junto al Padre como fuente de inspiración y revelación, sostiene nuestra fe" ["Why is it relevant to be ecumenical? I would stress in this work the role played vocation ecumenical and the search for unity of Latin American Pentecostal people and Caribbean. That call to ecumenical commitment is grounded in deep Christian convictions. In the search for unity is made necessary to highlight four fundamental convictions and motivation essential. The four convictions are: biblical, theological, missionary and ethical. The essential motivation is the vision of the Kingdom of God as ad Gospel and horizon of hope. The unit we crave is scoop and gift in Jesus Christ; guidance and presence of the Holy Spirit, with the Father as a source of inspiration and revelation, he sustains our faith"]
