Abstract
Many cases of violence, discrimination between ethnic groups, and cases of religious intolerance are a series of case in Indonesia. Indonesia has a big task to minimize such cases. Frequently, the case is started from the limited understanding of the diversity of Indonesia. Indonesia's diversity is a wealth that must be maintained by all levels of society. Education as the main foundation for the country has a role in building peace in the diversity country. Peace education to parents and children into one package business should be the major project and cannot be separated. Non-formal education is given to parents to be able to understand the meaning of peace and efforts to bring about peace. Through formal education, peace education can be taught to children. Hopefully, educational institutions can work together with parents to build a peace generation.
