Abstract
"El texto de la carta de Santiago no parece tener, a simple vista, una estructura organizada. Luce más bien como un conjunto de temas expuesto en forma libre, a veces con repeticiones. Es posible, sin enbargo, descubrir una estructura retórica, y no sólo la clásica del mundo griego – que el autor realmente conoce con exactitud – sino también la hebrea, expresada textualmente como un quiasmo extendido o estructura concéntrica. En la primera parte de este artículo se propone una escructura manifesta mayor que abarca toda la carta y que ordena su centro, el cual, a su vez, tiene su propia estructura concéntrica. La segunda parte estudia este centro (2,1-13) a partir de su forma retórica estructurada" "At first sight, the epistle of James does not seem to have na organized structure. It rather looks like a set of freely expounded, and ofte repeated, themes. It is possible, however, to discover a rhetorical structure, and not only the classical Greek one – which the author indeed knows with precision – but also the typical Hebrew one, expressed in na extended chiasmus or concentric structure. The first part of this article proposes a major manifest structure that covers the whole epistle and discloses its center, which in turn has its own c oncentric strucure. The second part analyses this center (2,1-13) starting from its structured rhetorical form"
