Abstract
This article questions the use of Max Weber's categories "ethics of conviction" (Gesinnungsethik) versus "ethics of responsibility" (Verantwortungsethik) to explain today's political systems and actions. It then studies more in detail the case of the democracy in post-2001 Argentina.
