Abstract
"O artigo faz parte dos resultados de uma pesquisa sobre contribuições das grandes religiões do mundo para uma conduta ética no mundo de hoje. Apresenta aspectos fundamentais de um dos grandes documentos éticos da humanidade, que é o Bhagavad-Gita do Sanâtana- Dharma (Hinduísmo). A sua leitura requereu uma breve contextualização, tanto histórica quanto do próprio corpus de textos sagrados da tradição hinduísta. A abordagem adotada na pesquisa obedece a três perspectivas: a) a dimensão do cuidado e disciplina pessoal; b) a dimensão dos ordenamentos institucionais; c) a dimensão da responsabilidade histórica. O texto fica, em suas conclusões, em aberto e propõe-se a ajudar na recuperação de tesouros do passado, fundamentais para o presente e para o futuro da humanidade" ["This article contains a part of the results of a research about the contribution of the Great Religions to an ethical conduct in the present world. It presents fundamental aspects of one of humanity's greatest ethical documents, which is The Baghavad-Gita, in Sanâtana-Dharma (Hinduism). It's reading has requested a brief contextualization both historical, as well as about the very corpus of sacred texts of Hinduist tradition. The approach adopted by the authors concerns three perspectives: a) the dimension of personal care and discipline; b) the dimension of institutional regulations; c) the dimension of historic responsibility. The text, in its conclusions, remains open, with the intention of being an aid for the recuperation of historic treasures, fundamental for the present and the future of humanity"]
