Abstract
"A adolescência caracteriza-se por perdas e ganhos; lutos e aprendizagens; medos e novas experiências. É um período de profundas transformações e conflitos de sentimentos. Situações de adoecimento podem tornar o adolescente resistente, angustiado e, portanto, ele precisa ser ouvido e acolhido. Falar em Bioética é falar em relações humanas; vida e morte de/em relação; é falar na constituição do ser humano a partir de suas vivências, frustrações, reconhecimento de limites e reconhecimento do outro; é não impedir o direito de pensar. Dessa forma, faz parte dos objetivos deste trabalho questionar: quando podemos dizer que um adolescente está apto para o exercício ético? Até que ponto o adolescente tem direito a decidir sobre sua própria vida e sua própria morte? De quem é a vida do jovem, afinal? Este trabalho é resultante de uma avaliação crítica e sistematizada de literatura científica sobre a fase da adolescência e o campo da Bioética. A partir desses questionamentos, torna-se indiscutível destacar a reflexão sobre questões éticas vinculadas ao atendimento médico do adolescente. Algumas recomendações foram destacadas por Oselka, Troster. A equipe de saúde enfrenta, no seu cotidiano de trabalho, uma ampla variedade de dilemas éticos, como a questão do envolvimento do adolescente no processo decisório sobre suas condições de adoecimento, hospitalização, tratamento e a possibilidade ou não de recuperação e cura: quais são as possibilidades de escuta/compreensão do adolescente e seu sofrimento? Diante destes dilemas éticos, a Psicologia busca: o aprofundamento de suas relações significativas; avaliar as necessidades de apoio e suporte etc" ["Adolescence is characterized by losses and profits; mourning and apprenticeship; fear and new experiences. It is a period of deep transformations and feeling conflicts. Situations of sickness can make adolescents intractable, distressed and due to this they need to be listened and supported. To speak about Bioethics is speaking about human relationships; life and death of relationships/in relationships, speaking about the constitution of human beings from his concrete experiences and frustrations, the recognition of limits and the recognition of the other; is not negating the right to think. Thus, a part of the aims of this consists in asking: when can we say that an adolescent is suitable for the ethical exercise? What are the limits of the adolescents’ right to decide on their own life and death? To whom really belongs the life of the young person? This work stems from a critical and systematized evaluation of scientific literature on the adolescence and the field of Bioethics. From these questions, we must emphasize the reflection on ethical questions linked to medical care for adolescents. Some recommendations were emphasized by Oselka, Troster. The health team faces in its daily work, a great many ethical dilemmas, such as the question of the involvement of adolescents’ in decision-making on their conditions of health/disease, hospitalization, treatment and the possibility or not of recuperation and cure: what are the tools for listening / understanding adolescents and their suffering? Before these ethical dilemmas, Psychology seeks a deepening of adolescents’ significant relationships and to honor their necessities of support and warm etc"]
