Abstract
"La legitimidad del poder judicial, en tanto poder del Estado encargado de la administración del derecho, constituye un problema fundamental de la teoría política. A su vez, las decisiones que emanan del poder judicial constituyen en no pocos casos hitos decisivos en la trayectoria de las políticas públicas; por lo que problematizar la legitimidad del poder judicial resulta un aporte fundamental a la reflexión sistemática sobre el Estado y las políticas públicas. En esta línea, el libro de Leticia B+arrera, La Corte Suprema en escena. Una etnografía del mundo judicial, constituye un aporte original y relevante no sólo para la reflexión sistemática de las humanidades y las ciencias jurídicas y sociales sino también para el debate público político" ["The legitimacy of the judiciary branch of government as responsible for the administration of law is a fundamental problem of political theory.
