Abstract
"Las cartas “pastorales” constituyen parte del “legado paulino”. De ellas, 2Timoteo es la que tiene más aire paulino. El autor procura ser fiel a este legado, pero debe responder a la vez a nuevas circunstancias, desde la experiencia de otra generación. El texto estudiado, 2Timoteo 2,8-15, es un ejemplo de este esfuerzo de ser actual y fiel a la vez. El texto está estructurado en torno de la “palabra fiel”. El himno de 2,11-13 plantea esta fidelidad aún en medio del sufrimiento y la muerte." "The so called “pastoral epistles” are part of the Pauline legacy. Second Timothy is the one that preserves more “Pauline flavor”. The author wishes to stay true to this legacy, but, at the same time, he must respond to new circumstances, from the experience of another generation. The text of 2Tm 2,8-15 is an example of this effort to be stay faithful and be accountable to his day. The Hymn in 2,11-13 requires this faithfulness in times of suffering and death."
