Abstract
This book explains that new issues and problems have come to face Muslims in various countries as a result of the different environments in which they live. These issues are social, economic and familial. Muslim scholars -may Allah keep them safe- have persevered in studying the problems of Muslim minorities in order to provide them with Fatwas that would help them lead normal lives. Within this framework, Shiekh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, a leading scholar in that field, contributed this book. Shiekh Al-Qaradawi divided his book into two sections; the first deals with principles of Islamic jurisprudence in relation to the issues pertaining to Muslims living in minority positions, the second is a collection of elaborated Fatwas on contentious issues raised among communities of Muslim minorities. This book is a translation of the second part added with the translation of the part entitled “Fiqh of Muslims Minorities: its objects, characteristics and sources” of the first section as an introduction to this book since it shows the methodology followed in Al-Qaradawi’s Fatwa.
