Abstract
"No es casual que en el CapÍtulo General de la Orden de Predicadores, celebrado en julio pasado en la ciudad de México, los dominicos hayan prestado especial atención a la necesidad de involucrarse más decididamente en el diálogo ecuménico e interreligioso, por una parte, y por otra, hayan redactado una declaración sobre el Maestro Eckart en la que, entre otras cosas, dicen: "no cabe hacer una rehabilitación de quien nunca fue formalmente condenado"" ["It is no coincidence that in the General Chapter of the Order of Preachers, held last July in Mexico City, the Dominicans have paid special attention to the need to engage more decisively in ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, on the one hand, and on the other, they have drafted a statement on the Master Eckart which, among other things, they say, "do not be a rehabilitation of who was never formally condemned""]
