Abstract
The paper explores the fact that Islam as the moral and ethics guidence provides a lot of examples from the previous periodin dealing with differences. The paper provides some requirements for conducting ijtihad as the way Muslim after the prophet era answer a lot of contemporary problem in social interaction, including daling with differences.
