Abstract
This article focuses on the identification of cultural heritages of Sunan Kudus which is loaded with the values of multiculturalism and how to reconstruct them to become multicultural education in the context of academic development in STAIN Kudus through cultural sphere expansion. Cultural studies will be able to open the cultural barriers in various dimensions without being limited by the narrow boxes and penetrate the secret of the hidden meaning in every culture signs. The more people are able to capture the secrets behind the facts, the more open the insight to understand each other so that it can be utilized as agents of social change. STAIN Kudus needs to take this role by promoting a vision of openness, improving network devices that support cultural space both physically and socially under principles; learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together in the context of Islamic higher education.
