Abstract
"La primera lectura del documento final de Medellín -sobre el que se basan estas reflexiones puede fácilmente dejar la impresión de que la preocupación ecuménica estuvo casi totalmente ausente de la asamblea. En efecto, sólo hemos hallado tres breves referencias a la cooperación con confesiones no católicas (junto con grupOs no cristianos) en cuestiones de orden social (1,3.3.; 11, 3.2.6 Y 3.2.10), dos alusiones al carácter ecuménico de la educación que debe impartirse (IV, 3.2.4 Y VIII,3.6) una a las celebraciones en común (IX,3.4.3), y algunas alusiones al carácter pluralista de la sociedad latinoamericana, pero no específicamente referidas al ámbito religioso" ["The first reading of the final document on Medellin based on these reflections can easily leave the impression ecumenical concern that was almost entirely absent from the meeting.
