Abstract
"En las últimas décadas, la humanidad ha tomado conciencia de las amenazas a las que se encuentra expuesta. Una de ellas, la revolución biotecnológica, ha creado un importante número de alarmas sociales y, de manera indirecta, ha desencadenado el nacimiento de una disciplina como la Bioética. En este trabajo se muestra que la Bioética es una manifestación de la «tercera cultura», ya que al aportar un discurso sobre los fines al campo de aplicación de las tecnologías biomédicas, se convierte en un puente entre «las dos culturas»". ["In the last decades, humanity has become aware of threats at which is exposed. One of them, the biotechnological revolution, has created an important number of social alarms and, in a indirect way, has unchained the birth of a discipline like Bioethics. This paper try to demonstrate that Bioethics is a clear manifestation of the «third culture», because bringing a knowledge about finalities to the biomedical technology application field, transforms itself in a bridge between the «two cultures »".]
