Abstract
"Tendo em vista a importância da “Sagrada Tradição” para uma reta compreensão da Revelação cristã, queremos, por meio deste artigo, analisar, de modo sucinto, a evolução histórica da compreensão teológica de “Sagrada Tradição” até chegarmos ao ensinamento magisterial sobre esta matéria, contido na Constituição Dei Verbum do Concílio Vaticano II. De fato, se quisermos compreender corretamente o ensinamento conciliar contido na Dei Verbum, devemos, como nos lembrou o papa Bento XVI, utilizar uma hermenêutica da continuidade, que se caracteriza pela capacidade de colher os nexos teológicos entre os textos conciliares e a tradição teológica- -magisterial que lhe precede" ["Given the importance of the “Sacred Tradition” for a correct understanding of the Christian revelation, through this article we want to examine, briefly, the historical development of the theological understanding of “Sacred Tradition” to arrive on the magisterial teaching on this matter, contained in the Constitution Dei Verbum of Vatican II. In fact, if we want to properly understand the Council’s teaching contained in Dei Verbum, we must, as noted Pope Benedict XVI, to use a hermeneutic of continuity, which is characterized by the ability to harvest the theological connections between the Council's texts and the theological and magisterial traditions preceding it"]
