Abstract
"Following a February 19, 2003 conference call meeting, the staff and chairperson met to consider various approaches to the work of the Commission as discussed on the conference call. This resulted in a suggestion for doing some of the planning work for our report preparation in small groups. Such an approach will enable the Commission to make progress toward developing an organizational outline for our report, while retaining and honoring the principle of including all members of the Commission in developing all portions of the report. Given the very brief timeframe for the Commission’s work such work in subgroups is highly desirable from an efficiency standpoint."
