Abstract
In At the Boundary of Literature and Theology, Professor YANG Huilin tries to make a contribution to comparative literature. All of three parts of this book focus on the language and meaning. The author borrowed cutting edge theories from theology and philosophy to reflect on the language and meaning discussed in the area of comparative literature. He wished to discover a new horizon fused by the language and meaning. However, since the book is a collection of his articles different journals, it can hardly be considered as a coherent theory of comparative literature.
