Abstract
This paper proposes an idea of revitalization of the issue of polygami written on legal Islamic law, which is related to daily family life. The basic idea of thepaper is because polygamy no longer relevant with the contemporarylife of Islamic culture, which now requires equality of between man and woman. To address this problem, some ideas put forward to reform and re-interpretate some Islamic laws laying into a major issue : contextual interpretation
