自 19 世纪公司制度诞生以来，公司以其有限责任与独立法人格等 特征于众多经济组织形式中脱颖而出，并以其不可阻挡的发展势头掀开了世界经济的 新篇章。作为我国影响力最大的经济组织形式之一，公司是否应在追求自身利益的同 时负担起相应的社会责任已然成为各路学者争论的话题。笔者将在参考前辈研究成果 的基础上，从法律角度浅谈公司的社会责任在当今中国国情下的发展与治理。 [Essay published in the context of the fourth CSR paper Competition, organized by the Center of International Business Ethics CIBE, Bejing, China, in 2010.]
