Abstract
" O artigo discorre sobre o conflito de interesses que atualmente perpassa o setor da saúde, em especial as atividades de pesquisa e a prática clínica, baseando-se em levantamento bibliográfico na literatura bioética, na normatização institucional, na mídia e em seminário de pesquisa. As informações levantadas denotam a preocupação de diversos setores e instituições com conflito de interesses, o que permite supor que ocorra de modo relativamente constante, frequentemente associado à indústria farmacêutica. Concluiu-se que no setor da saúde deve-se ter clareza quanto ao caminho ético frente a situações de conflito de interesses, a fim de não se incorrer em má conduta, por meio da manifestação do conflito com vistas a possibilitar adequado ajuizamento por parte de quem recebe um suposto benefício ou informação. Reitera-se que a motivação primeira para a investigação científica e a prática médica não é o mero lucro, mas a busca pela verdade e o bem-estar do ser humano" ["The article discusses conflict of interest that currently affect the health sector, mainly in the areas of research and clinical activity, being based on bibliographical survey, institutional standards, media exploration and research seminary. The information gathered denote the concern of several sectors and institutions with interest conflicts, what allows us to assume that it occurs in a relatively constant way, frequently related, directly or indirectly, to the pharmaceutical industry. It is concluded that in the health sector there must be transparence as to the ethical path facing situations of conflict of interest, in order to avoid falling into misconduct, by means of manifestations of conflict in order to enable appropriate conduct by the person who receives supposed benefits or information. It is reiterated that the first motivation for scientific inquiry and medicine is not mere profit, but rather the quest for truth and the welfare of the human being"]
