Abstract
This article discusses Al-Jabiri’s thought about how to understand turats (Tradition). As the result, there are three approaches used by Al-Jabiri in reading the turats: structural, historical, and ideological approach. These three approaches are the continuance from logical approach of burhani (rational) which is one of the three logical approaches: Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani.
