Abstract
"Las reglas para entablar combate determinan cómo llevar a cabo las operaciones militares. Son reglas sumamente importantes porque ofrecen normas consecuentes, comprensibles y aplicables, de cómo actúan las fuerzas militares en tiempo de guerra. Como cristianos, estamos en medio de una gran contienda: el conflicto cósmico entre Dios y Satanás (Efesios 6:12). ¿Tenemos también nosotros reglas de combate que nos aseguren la victoria en este gran conflicto? El evangelio de Lucas ya en su comienzo nos brinda una clave. Allí cuenta la historia de Zacarías y Elisabet, las primeras dos personas que participaron directamente en la misión redentora de Jesús. La descripción que hace el Evangelio de ese matrimonio sin hijos nos ofrece al menos cinco reglas de combate, es decir, la naturaleza y las modalidades de nuestra asociación con Dios en su plan de salvar al mundo" ["The rules of engagement determine how to conduct operations military.
