新闻行业有自身的职业价值观念和特定的功能指向。新闻真实的要求和客观性理念，已经成 为一种职业准则之一。但是，在将真实和客观性理念作为唯一的行为准则的时候，新闻从业人员 可能会对灾难事件或当事人的不幸麻木不仁，只考虑是否其具有新闻价值。在这里，需要引出职 业伦理的概念，以及对具体情况进行权衡、有一定弹性的新闻职业工作的规范问题。
