Abstract
"No hay duda de que el Nuevo Testamento no ofrece ningún testimonio inmediato sobre la institución y la existencia de un Sacramento de la Confirmación, con un rito claramente diferenciado del Bautismo y con una grandeza propiamente sacramental de especial expresión teológica, tal y como se desarrolló posteriormente, sobre todo en el siglo II en Occidente."
