Abstract
"A abordagem de temas de ética e bioética para os jovens torna-se cada vez mais necessária, caso queiramos contribuir na formação de uma sociedade mais crítica e que cultive valores de exercício de plena cidadania nesse momento da história da humanidade, onde se superestima o individualismo, a anomia ética e a exclusão social. Foi baseado nesses pressupostos que idealizamos essa pesquisa que teve como finalidade principal identificar a percepção de 209 estudantes de nível médio de uma escola pública de Londrina sobre os fatores geradores de diferentes tipos de violência social vivenciado por eles. O estudo foi conduzido por meio do seguinte roteiro metodológico : aula expositiva dialogada sobre os alguns dos principais referenciais da bioética, seguida de reuniões em pequenos grupos para identificação de situações de violência social que faziam parte da realidade dos alunos, finalmente procedia-se à uma dinâmica envolvendo todo grupo na busca de identificar possíveis contribuições que a bioética poderia oferecer para solucionar os problemas de violência por eles identificados. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que a inclusão de temas de bioética na educação pública de nível médio pode favorecer o exercício crítico de jovens na busca de soluções para as situações de violência social imperantes em suas comunidades de origem" ["The approach of ethics and bioethics topics for young students is a very important contribution concerning to build a society that cultivate values of full citizenship, especially at this moment in which the humanity is overestimating the individualism, the selfishness and the social exclusion. Supported on these evidences, we idealized this research to identify the perceptions of middle-level students in a public school in the city of Londrina concerning the factors that generate different types of violence prevalent in their own communities. The study was conducted in accordance with the following route: lecture and dialogue through the main bioethics themes, followed by discussion in small groups to identify situations of social violence that were part of the social reality of the students ; finally, we proceeded to a dynamic debate involving every group seeking on the possible contribution that bioethics reflection could offer for solution the social violence mentioned during the previous process of discussion. The results suggest that the inclusion of bioethics themes in a public education of middle level can promote the critical exercise of young students in the search for solution to situations of social violence present in their communities"]
