Abstract
"La Asamblea de Dios y la Congregación Cristiana de Brasil, además de ser las más antiguas denominaciones pentecostales, son, respectivamente, la primera y la tercera mayor iglesia evangélica del país. Según el Censo de 2000, 15% de la población era evangélica, con una tasa de crecimiento medio anual de 7,43%, tres veces mayor que la tasa de crecimiento de la población" ["The Assembly of God and the Christian Congregation of Brazil, and being the oldest Pentecostal denominations are respectively the first and the third largest evangelical church in the country.
