"En el año 2012 se cumplen 50 años de la apertura del Concilio Ecuménico Vaticano II por Juan XXIII, y esta circunstancia nos brinda el tiempo y la oportunidad para hacer memoria, reflexionar y estudiar –en continuidad histórica y teológica con las numerosas investigaciones que se han llevado a cabo desde entonces- este acontecimiento trascendente de la historia de la Iglesia católica en el siglo XX, con amplias repercusiones en otras confesiones religiosas y en el mundo secular" ["In 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of Vatican Council II by John XXIII, and this circumstance gives us the time and opportunity to memory, reflection and study -in historical and theological continuity with the numerous investigations that have conducted since-this momentous event in the history of the Catholic Church in the twentieth century, with wide repercussions in other faiths and the secular world"]
