Abstract
"[...] This report utilizes a perspective on freedom of religion or belief which is focused on fulfillments or violations of citizens’ rights and freedoms, and broadens it by paying attention to dynamics occurring at both state and society levels. The report also covers a number of issues that fall within multiculturalism discourse. These issues not only pertain to the appreciation or celebration of differences, but also include ways in which accommodations are made toward groups differentiated by religious and other aspects of identity, and how these contribute positively or negatively to the wellbeing of religious and inter-religious life in the geopolitical context of the country. We have chosen to call this perspective “civic pluralism”. [...]", p. 5
