"El libro de Proverbios está formado por varias colecciones independientes de refranes y de instrucciones, de fecha incierta, a las cuales en el postexilio se les dio un marco (1,1-7 y 31,10- 31). Estos materiales diversos abarcan desde instrucciones sobre el comportamiento de los reyes hasta no juntarse con malvados, y desde dichos que reflejan experiencias diarias hasta poemas de la Sabiduría personificada, primogénita de la creación (o preexistente, según se lea el texto)." "The book of Proverbs is comprised of several independent collections of sayings and instructions. Dating of these collections is uncertain; their frame (Pr 1,1-7 and 31,10-31) is postexilic. Material covers matters such as instructions about the proper behavior of kings to avoiding the wicked, and from everyday experience to the poems by Personified Wisdom, firstling of creation (or preexistent, according to different interpretations of the texts)."
