Abstract
Editorial In this issue of New Routes, we are speaking about Faith in Peacebuilding! Efforts made in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, transformation, prevention and reconciliation work are often charged with faith out of religious zeal. So, what difference does it make if the project is faith-based? There are of course no clear answers, but you will find indications. I am thinking particularly of the article about the Mennonites work in Africa through the lens of two researchers... Faith-based work makes a difference Susan Dicklitch and Heather Rice Seeking bold alternatives Max Ediger Faiths in co-operation for peace and development Geraldine McDonald “Where hope and history rhyme” Trevor Williams Misuse of religion16 in Gujarat conflict Fr.
